Tehran Faces Rising Death Toll Amid US-Israeli Offensive

(MENAFN) The Iranian capital has seen at least 636 fatalities since the US-Israeli military campaign began, according to the head of Tehran’s emergency services.

An additional 6,846 people have sustained injuries, Mohammad Esmail Tavakkoli stated, as reported by local media, noting that 430 locations across the city have been struck.

Tensions in the region have intensified since US and Israeli operations against Iran commenced on February 28.

In response, Iran has launched repeated drone and missile attacks aimed at Israel and Gulf nations hosting US forces.
