Israel Reports Dozens Injured as Conflict with Iran Persists

(MENAFN) Israel’s Health Ministry reported on Monday that 232 people sustained injuries over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of casualties since the start of the war with Iran to 6,008.

Among the newly reported cases, two were in serious condition, eight in moderate condition, 215 with minor injuries, and seven received treatment for anxiety, according to ministry statements on social media.

The escalation in the region has continued since late February, when Israel and the US launched a military offensive against Iran, resulting in the deaths of over 1,340 people, including the then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as stated by reports. Tehran has responded with drone and missile attacks targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US forces, inflicting casualties and damaging infrastructure while disrupting global markets and aviation.
